Yellow Gold Rings

Yellow gold rings are by far the most common gold rings.  The gold color is very close to 24K gold even though it is alloyed with copper and silver.

White Gold Rings

White gold rings have become popular more in more recent times, the last 25 years in particular.  The gold color is manipulated by alloying it with nickel and zinc, typically, to make it closer to a platinum color, or "white gold".

White gold may also be alloyed with palladium, which is currently a more expensive metal than gold itself.

Rose Gold Rings

Rose gold rings are alloyed with significantly more copper than silver, giving them a reddish, or "rose" tint.  Rose gold was invented in the early 1800's.

Other Color Variations

New gold alloys continue to be created using different metals, giving gold ring enthusiasts new colors to wear.
